What whomi.bio is
A link-in-bio and profile platform built specifically for software engineers. Instead of a static list of links, a whomi bio streams verifiable proof of work: live repository and contribution data from GitHub, reputation from Stack Overflow, problem-solving stats from LeetCode, package downloads from npm, and writing via any RSS feed. Visitors — recruiters, clients, collaborators — can send a structured enquiry (scope, budget, timeline) straight from the page, so the profile owner receives qualified leads rather than free-text DMs.
Who operates it
whomi.bio is operated by HACKASTRA INFOSEC L.L.C-FZ, an independent software company. The product is designed, built and maintained by its founding team — no outside content farm writes for this site. Guides and comparison pages are authored and reviewed by the team building the product, and each page carries a published or verified date.
How the live integrations work
Widget data is fetched from each platform's public API using the username the profile owner supplies (their public GitHub handle, Stack Overflow user id, and so on). Numbers are cached for roughly ten minutes and re-fetched on demand — nothing is typed in by hand and nothing is screenshot-based, which is the point: what a visitor sees is what the source platform reports at that moment. If a source API is temporarily down, the widget shows its last-fetched state with a staleness indicator rather than inventing data.
A note on demo content
Sample profiles shown on the homepage (such as @kai and @jane) are demo profiles with illustrative data, labelled as such. They exist so visitors can click through and see exactly what a rendered bio looks like before signing up. Platform-wide numbers on our stats page are live counts from the production database, with methodology notes published alongside them.

The core bio is free forever. Pro ($7/month, $70/year or a one-time $99 Founder lifetime seat) unlocks unlimited links and widgets, advanced analytics, resume export and more — see pricing. We sell subscriptions, not user data. Payments are processed by Stripe, with crypto payments available through crypt.pe.
